Tom graduated with an Associates Degree from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College and was one semester away from graduating with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from ECU when he was diagnosed with his cancer. Tom worked at Best Buy as both a GeekSquad Auto Tech and Home Installer.
Tom shared his big heart with friends, family, God, and his country, willing to give you the shirt off his back and fight to defend this great nation. He opened his home to rescue animals since the young age of 6, caring and loving these pets that had been abandoned / mistreated. He shared his passion for cars, racing, gaming, and building things with friends and family; making gifts with his 3D printer and found beauty in restoring things. He loved the outdoors - enjoying camping, fishing, hiking.
Tom is survived by his parents Jim and Lynn, his sister Lauren and her husband Kerry.
